The F&B Supervisor will report to the General Manager and will be asked to perform a variety of managerial functions. The F&B Supervisor is responsible for supervision, coaching and training of servers, bartenders & cooks. Our F&B Supervisors ensure that all work is performed up to the standards set forth by the department and The Barnes San Francisco.
The Front Desk Agent is responsible for processing all guest check-ins, check-outs, room assignments, and room change/late check-out requests. Secure payment; activate/reissue room keys. Ensure rates match market codes, document exceptions. Verify/adjust billing for guests. Communicate with appropriate staff when guests are waiting for an available room. Advise guest of messages. Coordinate with Housekeeping to track room status and guest concerns. File guest paperwork or documentation. Provide information and assistance to all guests and visitors.
The Houseperson supports the housekeeping team by maintaining cleanliness and organization throughout the hotel’s public and back of house areas. The candidate will assist room attendants with supplies and tasks that ensure a high standard of guest satisfaction.
The Overnight Cleaner is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, sanitation and overall appearance of the hotel’s public areas and selected back of house areas including kitchen and employee break room. This role ensures a safe, welcoming, and high standard environment for guests and staff by completing deep cleaning tasks and preparing the hotel for the next day’s operations.
The Housekeeping Inspector will report to the Housekeeping Manager and will be asked to perform some managerial functions. The Housekeeping Inspector is responsible for ensuring that guest rooms, corridors and public areas meet the hotel’s cleanliness, safety and quality standards. This role involves inspecting rooms after cleaning, supervising room attendants and ensuring a high level of guest satisfaction through attention to detail and consistent service quality.
