Compensation: $28.00 to $32.00 per hour
Description
Cape Cod's only double Forbes Five-Star resort is looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Restaurant Supervisor to join our team. As the Food & Beverage Supervisor at Wequassett Resort and Golf Club, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the daily operations of our restaurant(s), ensuring the highest standards of guest service, quality, and efficiency. You will work closely with the restaurant management team to ensure seamless operations and an outstanding dining experience for our guests.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of restaurant staff, including servers, bartenders, and hosts, ensuring excellent customer service and compliance with all resort policies and procedures.
- Monitor and maintain quality control standards for food and beverage preparation and presentation, ensuring consistency and adherence to health and safety regulations.
- Handle guest inquiries, requests, and complaints with professionalism, providing swift and effective resolutions to ensure guest satisfaction.
- Assist in training, mentoring, and evaluating restaurant staff, fostering a positive work environment and promoting teamwork.
- Collaborate with the restaurant management team to develop and implement operational strategies, including cost control, inventory management, and scheduling.
- Participate in the planning and execution of special events, promotions, and themed nights to enhance the guest experience.
- Conduct regular inspections of the restaurant to ensure cleanliness and organization, addressing any maintenance or safety issues promptly.
- Contribute to staff meetings, providing feedback and suggestions for improving restaurant operations and guest satisfaction.
Qualifications and Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in hospitality management or a related field is a plus.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in a supervisory role within the restaurant or hospitality industry.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a diverse team.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a customer-focused approach.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
