Description
Overview
The Associate of Development will help facilitate the company’s growth efforts and initiatives through the acquisition and management transitions of new hotels and resorts. This role will work in an analytical capacity including preparing underwritings for new opportunities, developing pitch decks for both prospective and existing owners, organize and track internal performance metrics, along with other related tasks.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the underwriting efforts on new pursuit opportunities for both management changes and acquisition efforts.
- Assist in all aspects of financial analysis, market research, and underwritings for new .
- Create and refine high quality pitch deck materials, RFP responses and presentations to support the company’s growth strategy.
- Help build and improve internal tools, templates and processes that will further establish EOS as the industry’s best-in-class hotel operator across the organization.
- Represent the company externally by attending meetings with clients, prospective partners and owners, etc.
- Assist in the creation and maintenance of quarterly ownership presentations.
- Update EOS marketing materials, internal and external database and on-going tracking efforts.
- Serve as a collaborative analytical resource and work cross-departmentally to prepare ad-hoc analyses as needed.
Required Qualifications
- 1-2 years’ experience in a hotel-related analytical role (i.e.: hotel asset management, hotel owner, hotel management company, hotel consulting, or hotel credit group)
- Strong technical capabilities including Excel and PowerPoint.
- Willingness to travel. This role will require travel that will fluctuate based on deal flow.
- Strong analytical skills: previous experience analyzing hotel P&Ls, KPIs, and STR reports is highly preferred
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent written and communication skills.
- Ability to effectively communicate with both external and internal audiences.
- Proactive, cooperative team player, and eager to contribute and grow
The annual salary for this position is $160,000 to $180,000.
