Regional Director of Leisure Sales (Western Region)

Compensation: $155,000 to $158,533 per year

Scope of this Position:

Reporting directly to the Global Director of Leisure Sales and indirectly to the Western area property General Managers, the Western Regional Director of Leisure Sales is responsible for moving market share from our competitors, uncovering new business opportunities, and positioning EOS Hospitality’s Western area properties within the leisure travel agent community. Through effective relationship building and account management, they will deliver the highest levels of guest service and ensure ongoing client satisfaction. They will be creative, energetic, and knowledgeable professionals. This proven sales leader will be fundamental to the continuing success of EOS Hospitality and its unique portfolio of independent properties.

General Responsibilities Include:

  • Achieve the financial objectives of each property in their managed area for market segments actively being worked.
  • Works collaboratively with each property's sales team to ensure sales efforts are coordinated and not duplicated.
  • Builds and strengthens relationships with existing and new customers to enable future bookings. Activities include but are not limited to sales calls, entertainment, FAM trips, tradeshows etc.
  • Develop relationships within the travel community to strengthen and expand the customer base for sales opportunities.
  • Entertain clients and hotel guests on the property as directed by the Global Director of Leisure Sales.
  • Manages and develops relationships with key internal and external stakeholders.
  • Participates in sales calls, phone solicitation/prospecting, and market analyses to acquire new business and/or close on business.
  • Executes and supports operational aspects of business booked (i.e generate proposal, writing contracts, and customer correspondence)
  • Identifies new business opportunities to achieve personal and sales organization goals.
  • Understands the overall market competitors’ strengths and weaknesses, economic trends, and competitor positioning to shift market share and optimize business profitability.
  • Establish themselves as subject matter experts; serve the customer by understanding their business, business issues, and concerns to offer better business solutions.
  • Supports the company’s service and relationship strategy, driving customer loyalty by delivering service excellence throughout each customer experience.
  • Provides excellent customer service consistent with the daily service of the company.
  • Set a positive example for guests.
  • Interacts with travel counselors to obtain product quality and service level feedback.
  • Works collaboratively with the Sales and Marketing teams to promote initiatives.
  • Submit weekly activity reports.
  • Log activities, contacts, and communication in Delphi FDC.
  • Initiate and execute agreements on the company's behalf in alignment with each property's standards.
  • Initiate individual resumes to ensure a seamless guest experience by communicating key information to internal department stakeholders.

Skills/Knowledge Required:

  • Highly motivated individual who can work independently.
  • Ability to handle confidential information discretely and in the proper manner.
  • Self-starter and possess excellent presentation skills.
  • Proven track record of successful sales history

Travel Requirements: This Sales Manager position has a requirement for business travel.

Annual Salary: $155,000 - $158,000 annually + Incentive
