Kitchen Supervisor

Description

Key Responsibilities:

- Assist the Chefs in the daily operations of the kitchen, including working on the line during service times.

- Assist in ordering supplies and ingredients, maintaining inventory levels, and ensuring that all products are of the highest quality.

- Work closely with the Chefs to manage groups and special dinners, ensuring that all culinary needs are met and exceeded.

- Manage labor effectively.

- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, adhering to health and safety standards at all times.

- Ensure that all kitchen equipment is in proper working order and report any issues to the Chefs for prompt resolution.

- Assist in the development and implementation of standard operating procedures for the kitchen, contributing to a culture of continuous improvement.

- Lead by example, demonstrating a strong work ethic, positive attitude, and commitment to excellence.

Qualifications:

- Minimum of 1 years of experience in a kitchen leadership role, preferably in a resort or fine dining setting.

- Strong knowledge of cooking techniques, food safety, and kitchen management.

- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead and motivate a team.

- Detail-oriented with a focus on quality and consistency.

- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
