Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Supervise dogs entrusted to the resort's pet-sitting program.
• Remain with dogs in guest rooms as scheduled.
• Walk dogs safely throughout designated resort areas while maintaining leash control at all times.
• Follow all guest-provided instructions regarding feeding schedules, dietary restrictions, medications (when authorized), and pet routines.
• Monitor pets for signs of distress, illness, or unusual behavior and report concerns promptly to management and the pet owner.
• Maintain a safe environment for pets, guests, and team members.
• Provide updates to guests regarding their pet's activities and well-being as requested.
• Complete required documentation and incident reports when necessary.
• Assist with emergency situations by following established resort procedures and contacting management immediately.
• Uphold resort policies, safety standards, and guest confidentiality.

Qualifications

• Previous experience caring for dogs or other animals preferred.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to follow detailed instructions and work independently.
• Comfortable handling dogs of various sizes, breeds, and temperaments.
• Ability to remain calm and professional in emergency situations.
• Reliable, responsible, and attentive to detail.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to walk for extended periods.
• Ability to bend, kneel, and stand for prolonged periods.
• Ability to safely handle dogs of varying sizes and energy levels.
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
