People & Culture Coordinator

Description

As a People & Culture Coordinator at Hawks Cay Resort, you will play a vital role in supporting all facets of the People & Culture department. This includes recruitment and onboarding, employee relations, benefits administration, compliance, and day-to-day P&C operations. The ideal candidate is professional, detail-oriented, and committed to upholding a high standard of service consistent with our resort’s exceptional guest experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with full-cycle recruitment, including job postings, resume screening, interviews, and onboarding.
  • Maintain accurate employee records in compliance with legal requirements and internal standards.
  • Coordinate new hire orientations and ensure a seamless onboarding process.
  • Support employee engagement initiatives and resort culture programs.
  • Respond to general P&C inquiries and provide guidance on P&C policies and procedures.
  • Assist with payroll processing and benefits enrollment support.
  • Track employee attendance, leaves, and disciplinary actions in P&C systems.
  • Help organize employee recognition programs and wellness activities.
  • Ensure confidentiality and professionalism in handling sensitive employee information.
  • Support P&C Manager & Director with compliance audits, reporting, and administrative tasks.

Qualifications:

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Hospitality, or related field preferred.
  • Minimum 1–2 years of HR experience, preferably in a hotel or resort environment.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • High attention to detail and ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with UKG systems a plus.
  • Bilingual abilities are a plus (especially Spanish/French/Creole)
