Engineering Manager

Description

The Engineering Manager oversees the maintenance, repair, and overall functionality of the resort’s facilities, systems, and equipment to ensure a safe, efficient, and luxurious guest experience. This role will help lead the engineering team, they will ensure compliance with safety standards, and support the Resort's initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise daily operations of the engineering and maintenance team.
  • Oversee preventive and corrective maintenance for all resort systems (HVAC, plumbing, electrical, mechanical).
  • Coordinate with other departments to address facility-related needs.
  • Manage vendor relationships and oversee contracted services.
  • Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and building regulations.
  • Monitor and control maintenance budgets and inventory.
  • Lead energy-saving and sustainability initiatives.
  • Respond promptly to guest or operational emergencies

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field preferred.
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in facility or engineering management, preferably in hospitality.
  • Strong knowledge of building systems and preventive maintenance.
  • Leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
