Description
The Housekeeping Manager is responsible for maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness, order, and luxury presentation throughout the resort. This role oversees all housekeeping operations — including guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces — ensuring an exceptional guest experience that reflects the resort’s five-star standards. The ideal candidate is hands-on, detail-oriented, and passionate about creating a pristine and welcoming environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, train, and inspire the housekeeping and laundry teams to deliver consistent luxury-level cleanliness and service.
- Maintain daily inspection routines for guest rooms, public areas, and employee spaces.
- Ensure all guest accommodations and resort areas meet brand standards.
- Manage scheduling, payroll, and inventory of cleaning supplies and linen.
- Develop and enforce quality assurance standards and safety protocols.
- Coordinate with Front Office and Maintenance to ensure seamless operations and guest satisfaction.
- Respond promptly to guest requests and feedback, ensuring quick and effective resolutions.
- Monitor performance, coach team members, and foster a culture of pride, teamwork, and professionalism.
- Oversee deep cleaning projects, special event setups, and seasonal maintenance programs.
- Uphold sustainability practices in product use and operational efficiency.
Qualifications
- 3–5 years of housekeeping management experience in a luxury hotel or resort setting.
- Proven leadership, communication, and team-building skills.
- Strong eye for detail, organization, and aesthetics.
- Excellent understanding of cleaning techniques, materials, and industry standards.
- Ability to work flexible schedules, including weekends and holidays.
- Ability to work with a diverse team
