Security Agent

Description

The Security Agent is responsible for ensuring the safety and security of all guests, team members, and resort property. This role requires a strong presence throughout the resort, proactive monitoring of activities, and quick, professional response to any incidents or emergencies. The Security Agent acts as a representative of the resort’s commitment to guest safety, service excellence, and a welcoming environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Patrol resort grounds, guest areas, and employee facilities to maintain a safe and secure environment.
  • Monitor surveillance cameras, alarms, and access points.
  • Respond promptly to emergencies, medical situations, and guest or employee safety concerns.
  • Investigate disturbances, thefts, accidents, or suspicious activities, documenting findings in detailed reports.
  • Enforce resort policies and procedures while maintaining a professional and guest-friendly approach.
  • Assist guests and staff with directions, lost items, or general inquiries.
  • Collaborate with local law enforcement or emergency services as required.
  • Maintain key and lock security protocols.
  • Support fire and life safety programs, including drills and equipment inspections.
  • Provide visible presence during events, peak hours, or high-profile guest visits.

Qualifications

  • Previous security, law enforcement, or military experience preferred (hospitality environment a plus).
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a guest-service mindset.
  • Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure.
  • Knowledge of safety procedures, emergency response, and basic first aid/CPR (certification preferred).
  • Physically able to stand, walk, and patrol for extended periods and respond quickly to emergencies.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; security training certification preferred.
  • Must be available to work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
